I will not need your help, so have a miraculous day." <br/> <br/>I began to see all of the things that I do not need to take care/handle today. And then I started to think about the things that people foist on me and I want to put them outside my aura. <div>Otherwise known as sociology. I hate writing sociology papers these days, but when I was in college, I thought it was pretty entertaining. I remember the introduction chapter compared sociology to studying traffic on a busy freeway. Some of the most tension, however, is trying to discern the line between the right of the individual to live as he or she sees fit and the social contract that keeps society glued together. Sometimes, it's a matter of how to keep hold of your individuality and being yourself while accepting the boundaries of friends. Sometimes it's simple, like don't call X before noon or after 9 pm. Sometimes it's making sure your vegetarian friends have something to eat besides salad when you invite them over for dinner. Other times, it's more difficult and it takes a while to figure out your balance. I guess - it's best to try for mindfulness. If you're aware, then you're more likely to keep that balance.
